The contemporary profile of the 1WB3BK frame is square with a slightly convex surface. This moulding features an MDF core with a lightly textured, Gallery Black laminate wrap. The character of this contemporary black picture frame maintains a style of prominent simplicity.

*** Matting will overlap image by 0.25" on each side. The reason for the smaller "actual" opening size is to create a 0.25" overlap on all sides so that the matting sufficiently covers and correctly adheres to the photo or print for proper display. (e.g. the mat opening for an 8 x 10 inch picture will measure 7.5 x 9.5 inches)

Frame is economical for a print. Description said Walnut wood. I didn’t realize that meant the color of the frame, and the frame is like plastic. It’s average in that it’s new it fits the need to frame my print and hang it but it’s obviously not wood.
