Go with the solid wood options instead
I think Craigframes makes the best affordable picture frames I've been able to find so far, however I think most people will still be happier with one of their solid wood frames instead of this one, which is made of composite wood. The wood-grain finish looks really nice on the website, but in person it looks and feels plasticky to me--too shiny and smooth. But other than that it's still very solidly assembled and the hardware is good.
