14 x 18 / 12 x 16 Mat

Not a great experience. The website said the frame was 14x18 and the matte 12x16. The matte came smaller, namely 11 3/8 x 15 3/8 and that did not work for the picture I was framing as I had very little excess room and the smaller matte was covering part of the picture. I tried calling several times and they never answer the phone nor call back even though they say they will. I emailed and 4 days later received an email saying they always cut the matte smaller and that is industry standard. No where do they state that. Accordingly to ChatGPT, what they have done is industry standard, but they should state that as it is not always known by people. Apparently so companies will say the matte size is 12x16 but the opening size is 11 3/8x 15 3/8. These guys did not do so, and they would not stand by it. They only offered to sell me a custom matte at an additional price which did not sit well with me.
Thus the reason for the negative review.

Absolutely gorgeous!

This frame style is so bright and beautiful and (a plus for me) made of wood but still lightweight! Makes hanging a somewhat large matted art piece a breeze! Not to mention that this frame came matted with a lovely white mat and all for an unbelievably low price ($40+). Thanks, Craig Frames, from a loyal customer!

I am an artist who has been your customer for 12 years. Your products are inconsistent and I am very disappointed in my most-recent order. This frame arrived with a cut/slit in the filligree. Amber has reordered if for me, but your quality control should have caught this before it was ever shipped. I am actively searching for another online vendor.
